Dawn of War Cheat List: ----------- Submitted by: RM To use cheats, hold CTRL + SHIFT and then press the ~ during game play to show the console, then type these cheats in as shown below. These cheats also work online if the game creator enables them in the game options. These cheats require Dawn of War version 1.10 or higher. Code Result ----------------------------- cheat_revealall - reveal all FOW cheat_killself - kill yourself cheat_power(n) - give yourself "n" units of power cheat_requisition(n) - give yourself "n" units of requisition Cheat mode: ----------- Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "Definitions" file in the game directory. You may increase/decrease the strength of any unit in the game. You can also increase speed, intelligence, etc. Cheat mode: ----------- Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + ~ during game play to display the console window. Then, type one of the following codes to activate the cheat function. Code Result ------------------------ get=[item name] - Spawn item Cheat: Unlock All Levels: ------------------------- Note: This cheat requires editing a file, so please make sure to back it up. First, open up your Dawn of War\Profiles folder and choose which profile you are going to use. Now go to \W40k\singleplayer\campaign\state1 and open up "campaignstate.lua" with some type of text editor (I suggest notepad or wordpad). Now you need to change two lines. The "maxmission = #" and the "scenario = #". Just change the # signs to whatever mission you want (the maximum is 11 and both # signs have to be the same). Space Marine Tactics: --------------------- A good tactic with any race is to establish a base quickly, but it is especially important with the space marine. While it's a good idea to capture strategic points closest to your base from the start, do not embark to far before you establish a solid base. The first thing to build is the Stronghold. From there, recruit more servitors to speed up the building process. Afterwards, see to increasing your squad cap (the population). Before you start building major buildings, construct at least 5 plasma generators for power. Look to build the chapel barracks and armory, before upgrading the stronghold's level. With relatively basic defences established, sally forth and seize nearby strategic points. At all strategic points you capture, build a listening post then a couple of turrets. This way you can protect your strategic points from enemy probes.
