Lego Island
CheatMode:
----------
During gameplay type in OGELISLAND,
you should see a picture of nick in
funny colors scuba-diving. If after
a couple of seconds he does not go
away then press N. The commands are
as follows:
N - toggels wierdness,
P - toggels plants,
1 - through 0 will either show the winning
or losing screen from the chase of
the Brickster,
U - makes you go up,
D - makes you go down.
LEGO ISLAND HINTS
-----------------
Boom Box:
---------
If your tired of listening to the radio that never plays
the songs you want then the Boom Box is here to save you.
Just go to the Pizasony (the pizza shop) but don't go in.
If you are facing it from the front you'll see a little
gap to the side. Go down it and click on the boom box. Now
you can choose your favorite song.
Chase The Brickster:
--------------------
To let the Brickster escape, first build the helicopter.
When you go outside, you will see the helicopter on the
landing pad next to the jail. Now, you must be Pepper the
pizza delivery kid. Deliver a pizza to the jail. The
Brickster will use the pizza to escape and steal the
helicopter. Then go around the island chasing the
Brickster and picking up parts to the helicopter. After
you collected all the parts, you must build the helicopter
again. After you have done that, you will be flying the
helicopter. Drop donuts to Nick and Lora to speed them up
and pizzas to the Brickster to slow him down.
Clues on the Third Floor:
-------------------------
At the Information Center, click on the arrows until you
see an elevator. Go in the elevator and click on the 3 for
third floor. Then you will see two arrows. Click on the one
on the right. You will see a desk with drawers. Click on
the middle one. It will start telling you clues and about
the cave code.
Cruise Control:
---------------
To activate this code, enter any vehicle and start driving.
While holding the gas, click on the hand to out. Voila! The
vehicle will drive on its own until it hits another vehicle.
Dancing Plants:
---------------
While playing, press Z and T simultaneously to make the trees
and flowers dance.
Radio Code:
-----------
Press Esc anytime in the game, you'll be with the Infomaniac.
He'll ask you if you want to exit. Then turn on the radio and
click the red brick. Now you can hear the radio at the credits.
Secret Cave:
------------
First, go to the part of the island that sticks up. Then go as
far down as you can go, then turn left and you will see a cave.
Go in the cave, go up to the door, and click on it with your
pointer. It should tell you different secrets. You can go to
it as many times as you want.

Flight mode:
------------
Enter the elevator at the Information Center. Allow one
minute to elapse while in the elevator. Then, use the
cursor keys to fly around the town.
Change colors and hats:
-----------------------
Click on objects as Nick like arms, trees, flowers, heads,
legs, and leg braces to change their colors. You can also
change hats to different objects, such as flowers and cats
when playing as Pepper.
Change moods and health:
------------------------
Click on the other characters when playing as Laura to change
their moods. You can change other character's health when
playing as Mama.
Winning:
--------
When you are in the helicopter, look for the Brickster. When you find
him, look for one of the cops. When you find them, throw a path of
donuts leading Nick and Laura to the Brickster. Note: When throwing
the donuts, try throwing them in front of the Brickster. If it is at
just the right angle, he could get stuck. Another good way to win is
to trap one of the cops in front of the Pizzeria by throwing a donut
right on top of them when they are at that location. If the Brickster
is in front of the pizzeria, and it is his last place to destroy,
click the "i" in the circle immediately above the donut symbol, click
the exit door (or click on another game in the book), and return to
the game that you were previously playing. You will now be able to
try again.
Hover:
------
Go to the coast of the island, then press [Keypad Plus] + [Keypad Minus]
while walking forward to the edge. Continue walking when you get to the
edge while pressing those keys until you walk off the island and hover
in the air. You can also walk through the sides of the island while hovering.
Cave clues:
-----------
Go to the third floor of the Information Center by using the
elevator. Select the arrow on the right and open the center
drawer on the desk.
Debug mode:
-----------
Type ogelisland during game play then press N to enable debug mode.
The following keys may now be used to activate the corresponding
debug command.
Key Effect

A - Diving, elevator scene
F - Change the quality of objects
U - Brings you into the air; repeat to go higher
D - Brings you lower; repeat to go lower
G + 1 - Freeze game
G + 2 - Brickster escapes jail scene
G + 3 - Helicopter shooting scene
G + 4 - Brickster is caught scene
G + 5 - Destroyed town scene
N - Pause and resume game
P - Plants disappear
S - Turn off music
Z - Plants dance

While playing Lego Island, go to the jail and get in your helicopter.
(if you don't have one yet, build it at the police station next to the jail.)
Fly your helicopter over to the racetrack, then click on your racecar. (
Again, if you don't have one, build it at the raceway shop.)
Finish the race, then you will appear underground.
(May not work on all versions)
